Both the Layflat Photo Book and the Flush Mount Album are made using the same production process. But there are two differences between these two book types:
1) The paper used to print the book. The Layflat Photo Book is printed on premium photo paper whereas the Flush Mount Album is printed on professional grade photo paper like Lustre.
2) The thickness of each page. Both book types have rigid pages but they differ in the degree of thickness. The Layflat Photo Books have thinner pages at 0.8mm in thickness. In the Flush Mount Album, you have the option to select the thickness you want, with the "Standard" at 1.1mm in thickness.
For a comparison and to see all options available in each book type, please visit the Photobook Comparison page.
With these differences between the Layflat Photo Book and Flush Mount Album - the Layflat Photo Book is our lighter, more affordable option as compared to the Flush Mount Album book type.
