To match the size of objects or images, you must first click "Edit Page" across the top and make sure you are on the spread you wish to edit.
Then select two or more items to do a size match. To select multiple items on Windows hold the control key while clicking items. To select multiple items on a Mac hold the command key while clicking items.
Once the items are selected, a black bar will appear across the bottom. The second icon from the right will allow you to match sizes based on height or width between the two selected items.
