Hanging an Acrylic Print is slightly more complicated than hanging your typical artwork, but by following these instructions, you should be able to do the job without issue. In the case of larger prints, hanging the Acrylic Print is a two-person job.
Included with your package are:
4 x stainless steel standoff mounts (base + cap)
4 x stainless steel screws
4 x plastic dry wall anchors
8 x plastic washers
Tools you may need:
Drill
Phillips-head screw driver
Hammer
Pencil
Level or tape measure
1. Hold your print against the wall in the place where it will hang. Check that it is level. (Alternatively you could use a tape measure to measure two equal distances from the floor to check the print is level). Mark the center of the four pre-drilled holes in the print with your pencil.
2. Drill the four holes where you have marked. A quarter inch drill bit is recommended.
3. Insert the four plastic anchors into the holes and tap them in with a hammer until they are flush with the wall.
4. Disassemble the standoff mounts. Attach the bases of the mounts to the wall with the screws provided by screwing the screws into the anchors using a Phillips-head screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
5. Hold the print against the bases. With a washer on each side of the acrylic print, screw the standoff caps into the bases. Tighten until snug but not overly tight.
