A good way to think about the difference between a Hard Cover and a Paper Cover when making your album selection is to think of a Hard Cover as similar to a hardcover book like a textbook while a Paper Cover is more like a paperback.
Our Hard Cover features a photo paper print that is wrapped around to the inside cover. Then a lining is adhered to the inside cover. Unlike the dust jacket on a hardcover book, this paper print is not removable.
While the Paper Cover is also rigid, the image doesn’t wrap to the inside. Also, when the Paper Cover is open the paper around the spine expands. This is normal and an integral part of the Paper Cover design.
